Summer at Snowbird

Gary had a week off from work and in attempts to do something fun we went to Snowbird and used the All Day passes we got a few weeks ago and the Grill on the Hill. It was such a beautiful day and best of all, not to busy!

Here is Shantel on top of the hill for the Alpine Slide.

What a cute polite little girl I have! Right before we head down the slide.

Gary and Shantel heading down the slide!

Me and Kallie going down the slide. She is such a daredevil, she wanted to go faster and faster down the hill.

The Tram! A ride on the Tram was included in the All Day Passes. It was the last adventure of the day. There is something about all the beauty and peacefulness you feel at the top of the mountain. Makes you appreciate that you have all this in your backyard and that there is so much more out there than what you can see.

Yes, we wanted to throw him over the side, but the side said do not throw things down the mountain. At this point Keeg was so tired we was grouchy and mean.

Our family at the top of the world!

We began the day by playing on the bounce houses. I think they spent well over an hour bouncing down the slide! A good babysitter if you ask me! Shantel went on the tramps and had a blast. The bottom picture is her trying to do a flip...but couldn't get her feet to swing all the way over. As you can see she was a little unsure at first.

We had such a wonderful day as a family in the mountains away from life and reality. It will be sad when we have to go back to work and real life.
And this is what happens when you have way too much fun.....asleep at the dinner table sitting up!

BIG Birthday Bash!

Yes another Birthday blog post, but the week was filled with such fun, that I thought we would share. Friday was Kallie's BIG Birthday Bash at The Little Gym. She won a free birthday party for signing up for fall semester! Yeah big fun and less work for me! This also gave us a chance to celebrate with friends.

Here is our birthday monkey

Bella, her friend from Preschool!

Riley another a friends we met at preschool!

Chase, one more friend from preschool and carpooling with Riley!

Keegan and Gary after Keeg stubbed his toe. He hurt it so bad he wouldn't walk on it for 2 days. There was no bruising or swelling, so must not have been broken. But poor kid couldn't walk ;(

Wyatt and Ezra even travelled to the party! Ezra didn't slow down even with his poor arm in a cast. What a trooper!

Will, my friend Dana's son. Took him a while to get used to all the wild kids, but he had a blast. He is such a strong little guy too.

Cousin Ella just hanging around!

Shantel showing off her skills.

Keegan on the beam before the toe injury!
And you can't have a party without cake!

Happy 4th Birthday

4 Years ago, Little Kallie was born with a head of dark hair and a face of beauty! The last 4 years have been a joy with her. She is spunky, witty and loves her thumb! Here is a quick look back in time...

39+ weeks, still feeling good!

Fresh out of the oven!

As The Years Flew By. . .

Wow! ONE!

Look, I grew...I am 2!

Look at me, I am 3!

Oh Score! I am 4!

A few of my gifts.

Mommy and daddy got me a big girl bike too, I was so surprised when I saw it, I didn't even know what to do. I just hopped on and wanted to go for a ride.

Mmmmm Chocolate cupcakes!
I had such a wonderful day! Mommy and daddy took me all by myself to Build A Bear and I got the cutest pink unicorn and a pretty sleeping beauty dress for her to wear. All day I told every one that is was my Birthday! After i got my unicorn, we went for ice cream and then went home to open more gifts and eat dinner...of course after we had my birthday cupcakes! What a great day.

Happy Birthday Baby Logan

I am proud to announce that I am a big sister yet again. And YES it is another boy. I guess I am not destined to have a sister. Although it may be a little late to do each others hair and nails~! Maybe that is why I was blessed with two girls of my own.

Logan was born on 7-8-9 9 (cool date I know)! He was a whopping 7 lbs and 11 oz and 19 3/4 inches tall. We went to visit papa Mark and Wendy at the hospital and snapped a few pics of the girls holding their new uncle! (yes I know that is a little weird!)

The girls thought it was so cool that they got to hold the baby and keegan just wanted to pet him. Shantel never got tired of the little one and would have held him all night if she could.
The only downside is that now they are asking when we are going to have another little addition to our family so they can have a baby...little do they know, they grow up...fast.

Jump, Flip, Roll!

Here is some video of Shantel on the uneven bars and doing her floor routine. She was a little nervous in front of all the people, so she paused a lot, but she did very well.

Kallie Sue playing on the mat with her friends! They do a lot of work that requires team work. They love to play with the props that the instructors incorporate. I have video of her doing her other stunts, but for some reason it is too big for the blogger to handle. So sorry ;)

Princess Festival

Last week we I had the opportunity hang out with my favorite Princesses for a couple of hours. Everyone from Rapunzel to Sleeping Beauty. My friend Liz told me about a company, In Our Own Quiet Way, that runs the wonderful even where all the money raised goes to help the people in Kenya.

Princesses Kallie, Shantel and Abbie!

Riding to the Royal Ball in Cinderella's carriage!

It was a 2 hour adventure where all the girls show their inner beauty and pass 5 tests to become a real Princess. They were greeted by the Blue Fairy (from Pinocchio) and had to save all the Princesses from the evil witch, and get them to the Royal Ball.

The Future Princesses meeting the Blue Fairy.

Their First test was to help Snow White get away from the evil witch and NOT eat the delicious red apple. Here are the girls with Snow White after they saved her!

Test 2: To help the prince get Rapunzel out of the tower. Look close you can see her hair hanging down the tower!

The next test was learning to act and dance like a princess. Rapunzel showed the girls a few ballroom dancing moves they could use at the Royal Ball.

Test 4...to save Sleeping Beauty from her deep sleep and tell the Prince how to wake her up. Some suggestions where to dump a bucket of water on her head...but they all finally came to conclusion she needed a true loves kiss to wake her up!

Sleeping Beauty looks so fresh for sleeping so long! A photo op to say Thank You!

The last and Final test was to rid the land of the evil witch by saying Bippity Boppity Boo! Now they were True Princesses and went to the Royal Ball with all the other Princesses.

Cinderella getting ready...The glass slipper fits! Prince Charming was so grateful we were able to get a photo with them!

Beauty and the Beast were there!

It was so much fun to go and see all the girls working together and for such a great cause. Shantel was a little shy meeting all the Princes and Princesses. Kallie got into the whole process and couldn't wait to help save them all! If you have little girls I would definitely suggest going next year!
